Almost 1/3 of the UK’s electricity was generated from renewable sources between July and September 2018

The electricity generated from renewable sources has risen 3.1% from last years quarter. The rise in the UK’s electricity generated from renewable sources is due to the vast number of government projects such as wind farms being built over the last year.

We are expecting to see another rise this quarter with more and more renewable energy projects being put forward along with several wind farms along our coastline nearing completion. Another positive on the renewable energy front is that most wind farms are now generating more electricity than first envisaged.

So exciting times ahead as the UK come together and push for more renewable energy sources in both the electricity and gas industries in 2019.
