One of our main objectives of 2020 was to carry on being pro-active with our work within the community. Previously, we have sponsored Warrington Wolves, being a main kit sponsor last year – this led us to meet the Warrington Wolves Foundation. They explained to us the amazing work do in the Warrington community. This appealed to us as we are a Warrington based business, and the majority of our employees are Warringtonians we definitely believed that the right direction to go in would be to become a main sponsor of the Warrington Wolves Foundation for 2020.

  • 2020 Warrington Wolves Foundation sponsor, ensuring essential funding is in place so the amazing foundation work continues within the community.
  • Over Christmas we ensured vulnerable families had their heating bills were paid for. This was accomplished through working with The Foundation & Home Start so that no family had to choose between eating or heating over the Christmas period.

Throughout 2020 we aim to carry on our work with The Foundation ensuring the Warrington community receives the support it deserves.

Foundation director Neil Kelly said: “One Energy is a perfect fit – following its success with the club, we knew them as trusted partners and the funding will mean we can continue to change people’s lives for the better.

“If One Energy or the foundation can support in any way, that’s what we are here to do.

“Rugby league is one family, lets tackle this together.”

The new sponsorship deal means that One Energy will be linked into the Wolves foundation’s work across its sport, health and education initiatives.

Melanie Berry from One Energy said: “In these uncertain times, we wanted to launch our sponsorship with the Foundation to show what we are about and how we could help in difficult times.

“We have already met some fantastic business patrons linked with the foundation who now face uncertain futures paying their energy bills, and maybe One Energy can support them.”
